The Athena rides low enough that the grip of the gun is only 1/4" to 1/2" above the pant line. This holster works best for smaller guns, particularly with .380's and small 9 and .40's. Because of this, the Athena is currently only available for compact guns. This holster works particularly well on females regardless of shape or size as it is extremely easy to carry with almost any clothing.
